Your searches and location

Catalogue searches run against our listed venues. Nearby lookups send your chosen coordinates to this service to calculate distances. The application does not store search text or coordinates, and does not send them to advertisers. Hosting and network providers process connection information such as IP addresses to serve and protect the site.

“Use my location” requires your browser’s permission. It is optional. You can instead choose a place, enter coordinates or select a map point.

Google place search and maps

When enabled, Google place search loads when you open the explorer; Google Maps loads after you choose “Show map”. Google receives connection information, typed searches and the map area you view. Selecting a suggestion retrieves its address and coordinates from Google, then sends the coordinates to our service for nearby hotspot lookup. These details are not added to our downloadable hotspot catalogue.

Google features are subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

When Google is not configured, the optional map uses OpenStreetMap tiles. Its provider receives your IP address and viewed map area. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.

Advertising and choices

When configured, this site uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage, IP addresses and device information to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where permitted and consented to. Our application does not add your search text or chosen coordinates to ad requests. Advertising scripts run on the page and can process page context.

For visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google’s consent message offers consent, refusal and options. You can revisit applicable choices using the privacy control provided by Google. Cards labelled Affiliate contain tracked links. We may earn a commission if you buy through them. Clicking a Klook link takes you to Klook, which may use cookies and connection information to attribute purchases under its privacy policy. We do not add your search or coordinates to these links. Affiliate offers do not affect hotspot rankings.

Using this guide

Hotspot listings come from the attributed data.gov.sg catalogue. Google resolves starting locations; it does not verify hotspot operation. Source dates are shown in the explorer. Listing does not guarantee current Wi-Fi, access, opening hours or signal coverage. Distances are approximate straight-line distances, not walking routes. Check with the venue before relying on connectivity.

Advertising is labelled and does not affect ranking. This guide is not affiliated with IMDA or the network operators.
